ABOUT BAMA JAMMA

Bama Jamma is a fun-filled weekend of west coast swing dancing brought to you by Jennifer Nye and the local club, Rocket Westies. Our goal is to grow this dance we love in all communities.  We kinda also just want an excuse to get together and dance!

At Bama Jamma we will have hours of social dancing, intensive workshops, and lots of fun shenanigans.

We offer many options for attendance including full weekend, or social passes.

This weekend’s event is designed for dancers with a solid understanding of west coast swing fundamentals. It’s not geared toward beginners. The Level 2 class is open to all dancers with prior experience. Current competitors will be placed in the level that matches their competition skill. However, there will be an audition opportunity for anyone who wants to move into a different level, which will take place on Friday before the event classes begin.
